Simple Lipliner & Gloss Demo

Fuller, plump looking lip technique

I used one product for this demo and it’s one of my favourites — the Sculpted By Amiee Lip & Shine - Lipliner & Gloss Duo in Mocha. The liner's longevity is impressive and the gloss smells and tastes delicious. A firm fav for wedding season.

Start by applying liner to the centre of your cupid's bow and lower lip line.

Working from the centre of your lips makes it easier to stick to the natural shape of your lips. Apply the product just outside the lip line if you want to create a fuller, more plumped appearance.

Notice in the video that I only line the centre of my lip line and DONT take it right to edges of my mouth.

If you have small or thin lips, lining them right to the edge of your mouth can actually enhance how thin your mouth looks. Equally, if you have very full lips, you may want to line them to the edge of your mouth to make your look sharper.

Using a lip brush/ applicator or even your finger, apply the gloss to your lips.

Softly blur the line as you apply the gloss. The overall look will make your lips look fuller and more pronounced.

A top consideration of this look

This simple look is all about tone and dimension. You only want to line your lip line and then blend the excess colour into the centre of your lips with the gloss.

This technique will naturally make your lips look fuller because you are working with two tones (light and dark), rather than applying liner all over and creating a one dimensional look.
